Returning for their 9th year of partnership, Chevrolet used the CMA Awards platform to pay tribute to military members and veterans, bringing the Chevy Cares initiative center stage. The collaboration also introduced the 2026 BraunAbility Traverse, providing customers the flexibility to personalize the vehicle to meet their unique accessibility needs.
Live during the broadcast, Country Music artist Ella Langley took the stage to honor 100 soldiers from Fort Campbell seated in the audience. She then introduced a :60 second Disney CreativeWorks custom content piece, showcasing the powerful journey of retired army sergeant Nick Koulchar, culminating in an emotional surprise: a custom, wheelchair-accessible Chevy Traverse. As the segment concluded, Nick joined Ella on stage to a standing ovation as Langley encouraged viewers to learn more about Chevrolet’s longstanding commitment to supporting the military at ChevySalutes.com.
Chevy’s heartwarming in-show moment and custom content storytelling was also extended across @ABC, @CMA and Ella’s social handles.
